What goals have you proposed to achieve for your participation in the competition?

Improve my abilities, learn about other careers, know how it’s a international competition and represent my country.

Have some achievement or recognition that you hope to get in the competition?

I think it's a personal achievement due to I never thought to participate in an international robotic competition. Only by participating I feel comfortable doing my job and improving.

How did you prepare for the competition and what is the most enjoyable part of doing?

I only took a break before working in the competition for a later return as more challenging and motivating. I think that the best part it’s working with my friends to create our first robot and overcome challenges together. A good chat can change the day.

What are your strengths and skills that you think will give you an advantage in the competition?

Teamwork, attention to detail, systems thinking, persistence and research.

Christian Raúl Jiménez Hernández

What goals have you proposed to achieve for your participation in the competition?

My personal goal through this competition is to hone my skills as a software engineer in a practical and challenging environment. I intend to expand my expertise in programming autonomous and remotely controlled vehicles, especially focusing on the implementation of algorithms on the Raspberry Pi 5. In parallel, I seek to improve my web development skills by creating and maintaining a blog, where I will document the process and share my learnings.

Have some achievement or recognition that you hope to get in the competition?

My aspiration in this competition is to be among the best, which would represent a significant recognition of my technical and creative skills in software engineering and robotics. I am looking for this achievement to not only evidence my hands-on experience in programming and web development, but also demonstrate my ability to solve complex challenges in a competitive context. This success would be an important milestone in my professional and academic development, highlighting my trajectory and preparation for future challenges in my career.

How did you prepare for the competition and what is the most enjoyable part of doing?

I prepared for the competition by leveraging my previous knowledge in various programming languages, such as Python and C++. In addition, I developed a blog to document the process. What I enjoyed most was seeing the daily progress and engagement of my teammates, as well as the creative challenge of designing the blog and recapping our progress and procedures.

What are your strengths and skills that you think will give you an advantage in the competition?

My strengths lie in my experience in software engineering and the diversity of programming languages ​​I master. Additionally, my perseverance, logical programming ability, leadership ability, and patience are key attributes that give me an advantage. I am prepared to face and solve any problem or challenge that arises, always looking for the best solution.

What goals have you proposed to achieve for your participation in the competition?

By participating in this competition I want to be able to expand my knowledge and skills, in addition to having a broader vision of these international competitions. It seems like a great opportunity to be here, so another goal I have will be to have more contacts and improve problem-solving and programming skills.

Have some achievement or recognition that you hope to get in the competition?

I would like us to be among the best first five but since it is our first competition I would like us to enjoy the moment and also meet more people to exchange points of view.

How did you prepare for the competition and what is the most enjoyable part of doing?

To prepare for the competition we had several sessions to get together and start working on each part that makes up the robot, in addition to which we subdivided into teams so that each one would perform a specific task or accessory. Although we had small mistakes, that's why we learned to do things better, and the most fun part was being able to play with the robot and also living with my team, who are great friends to work with.

What are your strengths and skills that you think will give you an advantage in the competition?

I consider that I am a very optimistic person who always sees the opportunity to improve things, in addition to that I also really like working as a team and consistency in the things I do. Commitment is the most important thing to carry out great work on the robot, I feel that determination and perseverance will help us bring the robot to great success.

What goals have you proposed to achieve for your participation in the competition?

Participating in this competition, my personal goals revolve around gaining fresh experiences, acquiring new technical knowledge relevant to my career, and expanding my professional network by connecting with individuals who share similar interests. I'm enthusiastic about tackling the competition challenges, as they present an opportunity for honing my problem-solving skills and gaining a deeper understanding of various technical dimensions.

Have some achievement or recognition that you hope to get in the competition?

I don't have a specific achievement or recognition in mind, but in my opinion, the primary goal in competing is to strive for excellence as a team. We aim to approach each challenge with a winning mentality, regardless of the final outcome. The competition itself is an opportunity to showcase our commitment, skills, and teamwork, and our main objective is to stand out and strive for the best performance possible.

How did you prepare for the competition and what is the most enjoyable part of doing?

I prepared for the competition by studying various elements, including some that were relatively unfamiliar or entirely new to me. This learning process proved to be exceptionally enriching, as it not only expanded my knowledge base but also provided an opportunity to delve into topics I had not explored before. One of the most enjoyable aspects of the preparation was the collaborative experience with my teammates. Working together allowed us to pool our diverse skills and perspectives, fostering a supportive environment for mutual growth. During the preparation, I developed a particular interest in delving into aspects of programming and uncovering ways to enhance certain processes for increased efficiency.

What are your strengths and skills that you think will give you an advantage in the competition?

I think I have a couple of things going for me in this competition. First off, I'm a quick learner and I also really enjoy solving problems. Being organized is another thing I'm good at; I like to plan things out. And when things get tricky, I can usually come up with some creative solutions to shake things up a bit.

What goals have you proposed to achieve for your participation in the competition?

Since it's not particularly my field of study, I would like to acquire sufficient knowledge in the area of robotics in order to complement what I already know, learning more about this science along with my teammates and other teams within the competition.

Have some achievement or recognition that you hope to get in the competition?

It's a bit ambitious and about dreaming big, so yes, I would like our team to be recognized with a good place on the podium. However, the achievement of learning new things and knowing more about the process carried out in building the robot is very valuable to me and my personal development.

How did you prepare for the competition and what is the most enjoyable part of doing?

One thing the whole team had to do, myself included, was self-learning. We prepared through official documentation and videos on the internet that helped us overcome the different obstacles we found along the way. Of course, this is something I also enjoyed; I enjoyed becoming more self-sufficient and learning new and complementary things alongside my teammates.

What are your strengths and skills that you think will give you an advantage in the competition?

Among these are good teamwork, quick learning, a willingness to learn and continuously improve, perseverance, and commitment. Similarly, my creativity and programming skills will aid in the development of our project.

What goals have you proposed to achieve for your participation in the competition?

I would love to be able to familiarize myself and learn with my colleagues the knowledge that is available in the area of ​​robotics for this type of projects, from the design of the robot to the use of the raspberry.

Have some achievement or recognition that you hope to get in the competition?

This is an experience that can provide a lot of knowledge, but having a record of participation and being ambitious to achieve with my team to enter the award ceremony would be incredible.

How did you prepare for the competition and what is the most enjoyable part of doing?

Anticipating working with the team during the vacation period, being able to make adequate preparations and familiarize ourselves with the challenges that will arise.

What are your strengths and skills that you think will give you an advantage in the competition?

I am good at working in a team and I can adapt well to the work assigned to me. I consider myself a multi-tasker so I can be involved in more than one job. I can contribute part of my knowledge and I can quickly understand what is explained to me.

What goals have you proposed to achieve for your participation in the competition?

So far, my academic focus has mainly been on programming existing robots and designing digital systems, leaving a space to explore in the design and mechanics of robots. With my participation in this competition, I hope to immerse myself in the world of robot design, and despite the challenges I know I will face, I am confident that each obstacle will strengthen my areas of opportunity.

Have some achievement or recognition that you hope to get in the competition?

Thinking about the future, of course, I would love to step onto the podium in this competition, but right now, I want to enjoy the present, and just the fact of participating in this event already represents a significant achievement for me.

How did you prepare for the competition and what is the most enjoyable part of doing?

My preparation for the competition has been intensive in recent months. I have dedicated time to study, and I have been fortunate to have the collaboration and knowledge exchange with my teammates. Fellowship and harmony have marked this stage, but what I have valued the most is the opportunity to make mistakes because I know very well that errors are the foundations of greatness.

What are your strengths and skills that you think will give you an advantage in the competition?

Regarding my strengths, I consider myself a dedicated, responsible, and above all, committed student. If something does not go as expected, I take it as a challenge that I have not yet overcome. Although I am currently just a student, I am confident that with my determination, I will go far in the field of engineering.
